The ACCUPRO B200900A is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built from submicron-grade carbide with an AlTiN finish coating, it delivers superior hardness and heat resistance for demanding cuts. The bar accepts a minimum bore diameter of 0.2 inches and reaches a maximum bore depth of 0.9 inches. With a 0.25-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 2.5 inches, it fits standard toolholders used in small-bore finish and semi-finish turning applications. Right-hand cut geometry is standard. Machinists, toolroom technicians, and CNC operators install this bar when tight bore tolerances are required.
This boring bar is suited for small-diameter internal turning in both production and job-shop environments. It handles ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a submicron carbide grade and AlTiN coating provide extended tool life compared to standard carbide. The compact overall length of 2.5 inches and 0.25-inch shank make it appropriate for Swiss-style, gang-tool, and small-footprint CNC turning setups where clearance is limited.
Designed as a standard boring bar replacement for small-bore internal turning applications using 0.25-inch shank toolholders on CNC lathes and turning centers.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC toolroom technicians. Power down and lock out the machine before inserting or removing the bar from the toolholder. Ensure the shank is fully seated and the toolholder set screw torque follows the machine manufacturer's specification. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before cutting to protect the bore tolerance and tool integrity.
