The ACCUPRO B200600R is a corner radius boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Machined from submicron-grade solid carbide, this bar delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for tight-tolerance bores in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It has a minimum bore diameter of 0.2 inches and a maximum bore depth of 0.6 inches. The shank diameter is 0.25 inches with an overall length of 2.5 inches. A bright finish coating keeps the surface clean during cutting. This tool is typically installed and used by machinists and toolroom professionals working in production or job shop environments.
The B200600R is suited for light internal boring passes where a controlled corner radius is required to produce a blend between a bore wall and a shoulder. The corner radius range of 0.005 to 0.008 inches makes it appropriate for applications that require a small but defined radius rather than a sharp corner, reducing stress concentration in finished parts. Right-hand cutting direction means it runs conventionally on most standard lathe setups without special spindle configuration.
Designed for use in 0.25-inch bore diameter toolholders and boring bar holders configured for right-hand solid carbide boring bars. Confirm holder bore diameter and projection length before mounting.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before mounting or removing the boring bar. Secure the shank fully within the toolholder to the recommended grip length to minimize overhang-induced vibration. Verify runout with a dial indicator before taking the first cut.
