The ACCUPRO B140400A is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built from submicron-grade carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) for heat and wear resistance, this bar handles tight-tolerance bore work in hardened steels, stainless alloys, and cast iron. It features a right-hand cut geometry with a 3/16 inch shank diameter and a 2 inch overall length. The 0.14 inch minimum bore diameter and 0.4 inch maximum bore depth make it suited for small, shallow bores where rigidity and edge integrity are critical.
