The ACCUPRO B120350R is a corner radius boring bar designed for precision internal machining operations. Built from submicron solid carbide with a bright finish coating, this right-hand cut tool delivers tight tolerances in small-bore applications. It accepts a minimum bore diameter of 0.12 inches and reaches a maximum bore depth of 0.35 inches, making it suited for shallow, fine-finish internal cuts. The 3/16-inch shank diameter and 2-inch overall length give it a compact, rigid profile. Corner radius range runs from 0.005 to 0.008 inches, allowing controlled edge preparation on precision components. Machinists and tooling specialists use this bar in CNC and manual turning or boring applications where dimensional accuracy is critical.
This boring bar is intended for small-bore finish and semi-finish operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Its submicron carbide construction supports use in high-speed applications where tool wear resistance and dimensional stability matter. The bright (uncoated) finish is appropriate for non-ferrous materials such as aluminum, brass, and copper, as well as certain plastics. It is sold individually and is a direct stock item for tooling rooms, job shops, and production machining environments requiring consistent small-bore geometry.
Designed as a direct-fit boring bar for toolholders and boring heads accepting a 3/16-inch round shank diameter in CNC turning centers, manual lathes, and boring mills requiring right-hand internal cutting tools.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Secure the shank firmly in the toolholder to the full recommended engagement depth to minimize overhang and chatter. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in a safe state before mounting or removing the tool. Follow shop safety protocols and machine manufacturer guidelines for tool clamping torque and runout verification before cutting.
