The ACCUPRO B110700R is a corner radius boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Machined from submicron-grade solid carbide, this right-hand cutting tool delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required for tight-tolerance bores. It accepts a minimum bore diameter of 0.11 inches and handles a maximum bore depth of 0.70 inches. The shank diameter measures 0.125 inches with an overall length of 1.5 inches. A bright finish coating is applied to the flute and shank. Corner radius range is 0.0030 to 0.0050 inches, making it well-suited for controlled corner break and radius blending in small-diameter bores.
This boring bar is intended for use in precision turning and boring applications where small bore diameters demand a compact, rigid tool. Typical applications include bore finishing, counterbore profiling, and internal radius generation in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It is commonly used in job shop and production machining environments by CNC machinists and manual lathe operators working with small-diameter workpieces. The submicron carbide substrate supports consistent performance across production runs in both interrupted and continuous cutting conditions.
Designed for use with toolholders and boring bar sleeves accepting a 0.125-inch round shank. Verify minimum bore diameter clearance and maximum depth requirements against workpiece geometry before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or lathe operator with the machine in a powered-off, locked-out state before tooling changes. Secure the shank firmly in the toolholder to the manufacturer-specified clamping method to minimize overhang deflection. Confirm that bore depth and diameter clearances meet the part requirements before initiating a cut. Do not exceed the rated maximum bore depth of 0.70 inches without re-evaluating tool rigidity and deflection risk.
