The ACCUPRO B110600A is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built from submicron-grade carbide and finished with an AlTiN coating, this bar delivers extended tool life and thermal resistance in demanding cutting conditions. It accepts a minimum bore diameter of 0.11 inches and reaches a maximum bore depth of 0.6 inches. The right-hand cutting direction suits standard lathe setups. With a 0.125-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 1.5 inches, the B110600A is sized for small-bore, close-tolerance work where rigidity and runout control are critical. Machinists and toolroom technicians are the primary users of this tooling.
This boring bar is suited for light-duty internal diameter finishing and semi-finishing on small workpieces in production and job-shop environments. The compact shank diameter makes it appropriate for Swiss-style, micro-lathe, or small CNC turning applications where clearance is limited. The AlTiN coating improves performance in ferrous materials, hardened steels, and cast iron by reducing heat transfer into the carbide substrate. It is a single-piece, solid carbide construction with no brazed insert, making it a direct replacement when consistent geometry is required across a batch of tools.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide boring bar for use in small-bore internal turning applications on CNC and manual lathes equipped with toolholders accepting a 0.125-inch round shank.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and machine power isolated per shop lockout/tagout procedures. Ensure the toolholder bore and clamping surfaces are clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Use the minimum shank overhang necessary to reach the required bore depth to maximize rigidity and minimize deflection. Do not exceed the manufacturer-rated depth of cut for the bore diameter being machined.
