The ACCUPRO B100600R is a corner radius boring bar manufactured from submicron solid carbide for precision internal boring operations. It features a right-hand cutting direction and a bright finish coating. The bar handles a minimum bore diameter of 0.1 inches and a maximum bore depth of 0.6 inches. The corner radius ranges from 0.003 to 0.005 inches, making it suitable for producing controlled, radiused internal corners. With a 1/8-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 1.5 inches, this is a compact tool designed for small-diameter, tight-tolerance work. Machinists and toolroom technicians use this bar on CNC lathes, boring mills, and manual engine lathes.
This boring bar is well suited for precision machining of small internal diameters in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Its submicron carbide grade provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for fine finishing passes and close-tolerance applications. The compact geometry makes it appropriate for parts where bore depth is shallow and clearance is limited, such as small valve bodies, hydraulic components, collet bores, and similar precision workpieces requiring a radiused corner rather than a sharp internal edge.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard toolroom boring bar for use in any lathe, CNC turning center, or boring mill equipped with a tool holder accepting a 1/8-inch round shank.
This bar is installed by a machinist or toolroom technician into a compatible boring bar holder or toolpost that accepts a 1/8-inch shank. Secure the shank with the appropriate clamping screws, ensuring adequate overhang is minimized to reduce deflection during the cut. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or adjusting the tool. Carbide boring bars are brittle and should not be subjected to interrupted cuts or excessive radial depth of cut beyond the tool design range.
