The ACCUPRO B100200A is a solid carbide boring bar engineered for small-diameter internal boring operations on CNC and manual lathes and boring machines. Built from submicron-grade carbide, it provides the rigidity and wear resistance required for tight-tolerance work in hardened and abrasive workpiece materials. The bar has a minimum bore diameter of 0.1000 inches, a maximum bore depth of 0.2031 inches (13/64 inches), and a 1/8 inch shank diameter. Overall length is 1.5 inches. The right-hand cutting direction suits conventional lathe setups. Machinists and toolroom operators working in precision shops, mold and die, or production environments will find this bar suited to fine finishing passes in small bores.
This boring bar is intended for small-bore finish and semi-finish applications in materials such as steel, cast iron, aluminum, and non-ferrous alloys. Its compact geometry makes it appropriate for tight-access bores in small components, medical parts, instrument housings, and precision fixtures. The submicron carbide grade supports both light roughing and fine finishing cuts where bore diameter control and surface finish are critical. It is used in toolrooms, job shops, and precision production environments where consistent bore geometry is required.
Designed for use with toolholders accepting a 1/8 inch round shank. Suitable for CNC lathes, manual lathes, and boring machines configured for small-diameter internal turning and boring operations.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool is locked out before changing or setting the boring bar. Secure the shank firmly in the toolholder to the minimum recommended stick-out to reduce deflection. Follow shop-specific feeds, speeds, and depth-of-cut guidelines appropriate for the workpiece material and machine capability.
