The ACCUPRO B060150R is a corner radius boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations in tight-bore applications. Machined from submicron-grade solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required for fine-finish work in hardened and abrasive materials. The bar accepts a minimum bore diameter of 0.06 inches and reaches a maximum bore depth of 0.15 inches. With a bright finish coating and a shank diameter of 0.125 inches, it fits standard small-bore tool holders. Corner radius range runs from 0.003 to 0.005 inches, making it suitable for controlled edge-break and radius blending at the bore exit. Machinists and toolroom technicians working on Swiss-type, CNC lathe, or small-part turning applications will find this bar ready to run without modification.
This boring bar is suited for small-diameter internal boring on CNC lathes, screw machines, and Swiss-style turning centers where bore access is limited and depth control is critical. Its right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional spindle rotation. At 1.5 inches overall length and 0.125 inches shank diameter, it fits collet-style and precision-ground boring head systems common in production and toolroom environments. Applications include finish boring of hydraulic fittings, valve bodies, precision housings, and similar small-bore components where corner geometry must be held to tight tolerances.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for small-bore internal turning operations using 0.125 inches shank boring bar holders on CNC lathes and Swiss-type turning centers.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Confirm shank runout meets the tolerances required for the application before beginning a cut. Follow the machine tool manufacturer guidelines for setscrew torque and tool overhang limits — excessive overhang beyond manufacturer recommendations will increase chatter risk on this small-diameter bar.
