The ACCUPRO ACC -T3601000 is a solid carbide single point threading tool designed for internal thread cutting operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. It covers a thread range of 8 to 32 threads per inch (TPI) with a minimum threading diameter of 0.36 inches and a cutting depth of 1 inch. The 60-degree profile angle makes it suitable for standard unified and metric-style thread forms. At 0.1875 pounds and 2.5 inches overall length, it is a compact, rigid tool well suited for production threading in tight bores. Machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, tool rooms, and production environments are the typical end users.
This tool is used in internal threading applications on a range of materials where solid carbide provides the rigidity and wear resistance needed for consistent thread form. The 3/8-inch shank fits standard boring bar holders and quick-change tooling systems commonly found on CNC turning centers and manual lathes. The bright/uncoated finish makes it well suited for threading aluminum, brass, and other non-ferrous materials, as well as some steels where coating is not required. A 0.08-inch projection from edge keeps the cutting geometry close to the holder for reduced vibration in shallow-bore applications.
Designed as an OEM-style single point threading insert tool for internal thread cutting applications using standard 3/8-inch shank toolholders on CNC and manual turning equipment.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Power down and lock out the machine before mounting or removing the tool from the holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated and properly clamped in the toolholder to the holder manufacturer's specified clamping torque before running. Verify thread profile, pitch, and depth of cut settings in the CNC program or compound rest before engaging the workpiece.
