The ACCUPRO ACC -T2301500 is a solid carbide single point threading tool designed for internal thread cutting on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. It handles a minimum thread diameter of 0.23 inches and covers a threading range of 14 to 40 TPI, making it suitable for a broad range of internal thread profiles. The 60-degree profile angle conforms to standard Unified and metric thread forms. With a cutting depth of 1.5 inches and a 5/16-inch shank diameter, this tool is well suited for through-bore and blind-hole threading operations where rigidity and reach must be balanced. Machinists and toolroom technicians select this insert-style ground tool for precision threading in steel, aluminum, and similar machinable materials.
This threading tool is used in production and job-shop environments for internal threading applications on lathes and turning centers. The bright, uncoated solid carbide construction suits dry or wet cutting conditions on a wide range of workpiece materials. The 0.055-inch projection from edge and 2.5-inch overall length make it appropriate for standard bore depths encountered in typical component threading work. It is installed by machinists and CNC operators working to thread specifications in part programs or manual operations.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard 5/16-inch shank internal single point threading toolholders used in CNC and manual lathe applications requiring 60-degree thread profile geometry.
Internal threading tools should be installed in a clean, properly sized toolholder bore and torqued to the toolholder manufacturer's specifications. Confirm shank diameter and projection clearance before mounting. Power down or engage an E-stop on the machine before changing tooling. Verify thread pitch and profile setup with a thread gauge on a test piece before committing to a production run.
