The ACCUPRO ACC -T2001000 is a single point threading tool designed for internal thread cutting on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Manufactured from solid carbide, it delivers consistent edge integrity and wear resistance across a wide range of threading operations. The tool accepts a 60-degree profile angle and covers a thread range of 16 to 40 TPI with a minimum threading diameter of 0.2 inches and a cutting depth of 1 inch. Machinists and tool-room technicians use this insert-style geometry for precision internal threading in steel, aluminum, and similar machinable materials.
This tool is suited for internal threading applications in production and job-shop environments. The bright/uncoated finish makes it appropriate for materials where coated tooling may cause built-up edge or adhesion issues. With a 1/4-inch shank diameter and a 2.5-inch overall length, it fits standard boring bar holders and small-diameter tooling blocks. The 0.045-inch projection from edge supports controlled chip flow during threading passes in bored holes and pre-drilled features.
Designed as an OEM-style single point threading tool for use in 1/4-inch shank boring bar holders and threading toolblocks on CNC and manual lathes performing internal thread operations.
Install this tool in a compatible 1/4-inch shank holder and confirm secure clamping before any threading pass. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing or adjusting tooling. Set tool centerline height precisely to the workpiece centerline to maintain correct thread profile geometry. Verify TPI setting and pass depth on a test piece before committing to production cuts.
