The ACCUPRO ACC-HB135750 is a helical boring bar machined from submicron-grade solid carbide and designed for precision internal boring in tight-diameter applications. It accepts a minimum bore diameter of 0.135 inches and reaches a maximum bore depth of 0.75 inches, making it well suited for small-hole finishing operations where rigidity and concentricity are critical. The 3/16-inch shank diameter fits standard boring bar holders, and the 2-inch overall length keeps the tool compact for use in CNC lathes, machining centers, and manual lathes. The bright finish coating reduces friction during the cut. Right-hand cutting geometry is standard. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling specialists.
The ACC-HB135750 targets precision machining environments where small bore diameters demand a rigid, vibration-resistant tool. Typical applications include finish boring of hydraulic valve bodies, instrumentation housings, aerospace components, and other workpieces requiring tight tolerance internal diameters. The submicron carbide substrate supports consistent performance in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Designed for use in standard 3/16-inch boring bar tool holders on CNC lathes, machining centers, and manual lathes requiring helical boring bar tooling in the 0.135-inch minimum bore range.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Secure the shank fully within the tool holder to the manufacturer-recommended grip length before operation, and verify runout with a dial indicator before taking a finishing pass. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing or adjusting the boring bar. Do not exceed the rated bore depth, as carbide boring bars at small diameters are susceptible to fracture under excessive radial load or interrupted cuts.
