The ACCUPRO ACC-HB120625 is a helical boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations in tight-diameter applications. Machined from submicron-grade solid carbide, it delivers consistent rigidity and wear resistance at small diameters where high-speed steel tooling typically falls short. The bar handles a minimum bore diameter of 0.12 inches and reaches a maximum bore depth of 0.625 inches, making it well suited for shallow, fine-tolerance bores. With a bright finish coating and a 0.125-inch shank diameter, it mounts directly into standard tool holders used on CNC lathes and machining centers. A right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional spindle rotation setups.
This boring bar fits residential and commercial machine shop environments where small-diameter internal features require consistent surface finish and dimensional accuracy. It is used on CNC turning centers, manual lathes, and mill-turn machines running production or prototype work. The submicron carbide grade performs well in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where chatter resistance and edge retention are priorities. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on small components, hydraulic bodies, or precision instrument housings will find this bar a direct fit for fine-bore finishing passes.
Designed for use in standard 0.125-inch bore tool holders and collet systems on CNC lathes, turning centers, and machining centers configured for right-hand internal boring operations.
Installation and tool changes should be performed with the machine in a full stop and all axes locked. Secure the shank firmly in a compatible collet or tool holder to the holder manufacturer's specified clamping procedure before running. Confirm cutting direction and spindle rotation match before initiating a cut. Machinists should verify bore depth clearance against the maximum bore depth specification before programming depth passes.
