The ACCUPRO ACC-GR028F is a single point tool bit designed for cut-off and grooving operations on lathes and turning centers. It features a micrograin solid carbide tip brazed to a steel shank, delivering consistent edge integrity and wear resistance on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The right-hand cutting direction and GR-style geometry make it well suited for precision grooving passes where controlled chip formation and accurate groove width are critical. The shank measures 3/8 inch wide by 3/4 inch tall, fitting standard tool holders in that size class. Machinists and CNC lathe operators are the primary users of this tool bit.

This tool bit is used in production and job-shop turning applications where external grooving or cut-off operations are required. It is appropriate for use on manual engine lathes as well as CNC turning centers. The full-radius geometry supports consistent groove profiles.
