The ACCUPRO ACC-GF250-24 is a solid carbide full radius grooving tool designed for internal grooving operations in machined bores. Built from submicron-grade solid carbide, it delivers consistent performance in tight-tolerance applications where tool rigidity and edge retention are critical. The tool features a 1/2 inch shank diameter, an overall length of 3 inches, and a groove width of 0.2510 inches. It is suited for machinists and tooling technicians working on CNC lathes or boring equipment requiring precise internal groove profiles.
This grooving tool is intended for use in bore grooving applications where a full radius profile is required. It accommodates a minimum hole diameter of 0.5000 inches and a maximum hole depth of 1.5 inches, making it appropriate for a range of small-bore internal grooving tasks in production and job-shop environments. The 0.1600 inch projection supports controlled cutting depth in confined bore geometries.
Designed as a direct-fit grooving tool for use with standard 1/2 inch bore grooving toolholders in CNC lathe and boring applications requiring a minimum hole diameter of 0.5000 inches.
Installation and use should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and all motion is locked out before mounting or removing the tool. Verify shank seating and toolholder clamping torque per the toolholder manufacturer specifications before running. Inspect the cutting edge for chips or wear before each use, as carbide tooling should never be run with a damaged edge.
