The ACCUPRO ACC-GF038-10 is a full radius grooving tool engineered for internal grooving operations in precision machining applications. The tool features a 5/16-inch shank diameter and cuts a groove width of 0.0385 inches. With a projection of 0.110 inches and a compact overall length of 2.5 inches, it is sized for tight-bore work. This grooving tool is suited for precision internal grooving where a full radius profile is required. This tool is installed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool turret or holder is locked before mounting. Secure the shank firmly in the toolholder to the specified clamping torque listed by the toolholder manufacturer to prevent chatter and tool pullout. Confirm bore clearance and projection settings before initiating the cut.
