The ACCUPRO ACC-G069-16 is a solid carbide internal grooving tool designed for cutting retaining ring grooves in bored holes. Built from submicron-grade solid carbide, it delivers the hardness and edge retention needed for precise, repeatable groove geometry in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The tool features a 3/8 inch shank diameter, a 0.0700 inch groove width, and an overall length of 2.5 inches. It is sized for holes with a minimum diameter of 0.3750 inches and supports a maximum hole depth of 1.0 inch. Machinists and toolroom technicians use this tool on CNC lathes and manual turning centers where internal retaining ring grooves are required for shaft and bore retention assemblies.
This grooving tool is suited for internal grooving operations in production and job-shop environments. Do not exceed the maximum hole depth rating of 1.0 inch, as overextension can cause tool deflection or breakage.
