The ACCUPRO ACC-BBL230600 is a left-hand cut boring bar manufactured from submicron-grade solid carbide. It is designed for internal boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers where tight-bore accuracy and consistent finish quality are required. The bar accepts a minimum bore diameter of 0.23 inches and reaches a maximum bore depth of 0.60 inches. With a bright finish coating and a 5/16-inch shank diameter, it is suited for small-bore, high-precision work in production and job-shop environments. Machinists and tooling technicians are the primary users.
This boring bar is appropriate for small-diameter internal turning in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Its submicron carbide construction handles the demands of tight-tolerance bores where chatter resistance and edge retention are critical. The left-hand cutting direction suits specific toolholder orientations and back-boring setups. Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or removing the bar from the holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated and clamping screws are torqued per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify cutting direction orientation before engaging the workpiece to avoid tool or workpiece damage.
