The ACCUPRO ACC-BB4904500G is a solid carbide boring bar designed for internal diameter machining in metal cutting applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide with a TiN (titanium nitride) finish coating, this bar delivers consistent cutting performance and extended tool life in demanding turning and boring operations. It features a right-hand cutting direction, a 0.49-inch minimum bore diameter, and a 4.5-inch maximum bore depth. The 0.5-inch shank diameter and 6-inch overall length make it suitable for a range of lathe and machining center setups. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users of this tooling.
This boring bar is suited for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes, manual lathes, and machining centers in job shop, production, and maintenance environments. It handles small-to-medium bore diameter work where tight tolerances and clean surface finishes are required. The micrograin carbide substrate provides strength and wear resistance in ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
