The bar features a 0.49-inch minimum bore diameter and handles a maximum bore depth of 4.5 inches, making it suitable for moderate-to-deep bore applications. The 1/2-inch shank diameter and 6-inch overall length provide rigid tool holding and reach for common production setups. Right-hand cutting direction is standard. Verify boring bar runout with a dial indicator before initiating a cut, and confirm the holder set screws or clamping bolts are torqued according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications.
