The ACCUPRO ACC-BB4901500A is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built from micrograin solid carbide with a TiAlN finish coating, it delivers consistent cutting performance and extended tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The right-hand cutting geometry and 0.5-inch shank diameter provide rigid setup and accurate bore sizing. With a minimum bore diameter of 0.49 inches and a maximum bore depth of 1.5 inches, this bar fits a range of close-tolerance internal finishing applications. Overall length is 3 inches. It weighs 0.3125 pounds.
This boring bar is suited for production and job-shop turning environments where tight bore tolerances are required. It is commonly used by machinists and toolroom operators working on small-diameter through-bores and blind bores in steel, cast iron, aluminum, and similar workpiece materials.
