The ACCUPRO ACC-BB360600G is a solid carbide boring bar designed for internal diameter machining on lathes and turning centers. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and edge retention required for precise bore finishing in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The cutting edge carries a TiN (titanium nitride) coating that extends tool life and reduces friction during the cut. With a minimum bore diameter of 0.36 inches and a maximum bore depth of 0.6 inches, this bar is suited to small-bore applications where tool deflection and runout must be kept tight. It is a right-hand cut tool with a 3/8-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 2.5 inches.
This boring bar is used in job shop, production, and toolroom environments wherever small internal diameters require a clean, accurate finish. Typical applications include finishing pre-drilled or rough-bored holes in turned components, fixtures, and precision mechanical assemblies. This tool is installed by a machinist or toolroom technician into a compatible 3/8-inch boring bar holder or quick-change toolpost. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing or setting tooling. Ensure the shank is clamped securely with adequate contact length to minimize tool deflection during cutting. Do not exceed the 0.6-inch maximum bore depth rating, as doing so risks tool breakage and workpiece damage.
