The ACCUPRO ACC-BB3603000G is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built from micrograin solid carbide with a titanium nitride (TiN) finish coating, this bar delivers consistent dimensional accuracy and extended tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a right-hand cutting direction, a minimum bore diameter of 0.36 inches, and a maximum bore depth of 3 inches. The 3/8-inch shank diameter and 4-inch overall length make it well suited for tight-tolerance bores in production and job-shop environments. Machinists and tool room technicians are the primary users.
This boring bar is used in applications where precise internal diameters are required, including through-holes and blind bores in turned components. It is appropriate for both roughing and finishing passes within its bore diameter range. The TiN coating reduces friction and improves wear resistance, making it effective in medium- to high-volume turning operations. Installation is performed by qualified machinists or tool room technicians. Secure the shank fully within the toolholder and confirm overhang is minimized to reduce chatter and deflection. Power down the machine and lock out all motion before changing or adjusting tooling.
