The ACCUPRO ACC-BB2301000A is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built from micrograin solid carbide with a TiAlN finish coating, it delivers consistent dimensional accuracy and extended tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The bar handles a minimum bore diameter of 0.23 inches and a maximum bore depth of 1 inch, making it well suited for small-diameter, tight-tolerance bores. The right-hand cut geometry follows standard tool orientation for most lathe setups. With a 5/16-inch shank diameter and a 2.5-inch overall length, the bar fits standard boring bar holders without modification.

This boring bar is intended for use in production and job-shop machining environments where repeatable bore geometry is required. It is appropriate for residential shop use as well as light industrial turning applications. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC tooling technician. The machine spindle must be brought to a full stop and the machine placed in a safe lockout state before mounting or removing any tooling. Ensure the boring bar shank is clamped securely in the holder with sufficient engagement length to minimize deflection. Do not exceed the recommended bore depth of 1 inch for this bar geometry, as excessive overhang increases vibration and risk of tool breakage.
