The ACCUPRO ACC-BB160600 is a submicron solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. It cuts right-hand and handles a minimum bore diameter of 0.16 inches with a maximum bore depth of 0.6 inches. The submicron carbide grade delivers fine grain structure for improved edge retention and surface finish in tight-tolerance bores. A bright finish coating keeps the bar free of additional coatings that can affect dimensional accuracy in close work. With a 3/16-inch shank diameter and a 2-inch overall length, this bar fits compact toolholders used in small-bore applications.
This boring bar is suited for small-diameter internal turning in precision machining environments, including job shops, tool rooms, and production cells running small parts. It is appropriate for ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a rigid, solid carbide tool is required to minimize chatter and hold tight bore tolerances.
