The ACCUPRO ACC-BB160500 is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built from submicron-grade solid carbide with a bright finish, it delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for tight-tolerance bore work. The bar has a 0.16 inch minimum bore diameter and cuts to a maximum depth of 0.50 inches. With a 3/16 inch shank diameter and a 2.00 inch overall length, it fits standard boring bar holders used in light to medium turning applications. Installation and setup are handled by machinists and CNC operators in production and job shop environments.

This boring bar is suited for small-diameter internal boring on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional lathe spindle rotation. The submicron carbide grade provides wear resistance in both interrupted and continuous cuts at the smaller bore sizes where high-speed steel tooling typically underperforms.
