The ACCUPRO ACC-BB120250G is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal diameter boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers rigidity and wear resistance in tight-tolerance bore work. The TiN (titanium nitride) finish coating reduces friction and extends cutting edge life. With a minimum bore diameter of 0.12 inches and a maximum bore depth of 0.25 inches, this bar is suited for small-diameter finish boring where surface quality and dimensional accuracy are the priority. Machinists and toolroom technicians working on small precision components rely on this geometry for repeatable results.
This boring bar is used in right-hand cutting applications on turning equipment. Its 3/16-inch shank diameter and 2-inch overall length make it a practical choice for small-bore work in production machining, job shops, and toolroom environments. Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before mounting or removing tooling. Secure the shank firmly in the toolholder to the specified clamping torque recommended by the toolholder manufacturer. Inspect the cutting edge for chips or wear before each use, and handle carbide tooling carefully to avoid edge damage from impact.
