The ACCUPRO ACC-BB110700G is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC and manual lathes. Built from micrograin solid carbide, this bar offers superior rigidity and wear resistance compared to steel-bodied alternatives, making it well suited for tight-tolerance bore finishing. The TiN (Titanium Nitride) coating reduces friction and extends tool life in production environments. With a minimum bore diameter of 0.11 inches and a maximum bore depth of 0.7 inches, it handles small-bore applications where rigidity and reach are both critical. Installed by machinists and tool-room operators, this bar ships as a single unit.
This boring bar is intended for small-bore machining applications in job shops, production facilities, and tool rooms. The 0.11-inch minimum bore diameter makes it a practical choice for fine internal finishing passes on small-diameter workpieces in steel, aluminum, and similar machinable materials. The right-hand cutting direction suits standard lathe setups. With a 1/8-inch shank diameter and a 1.5-inch overall length, it fits compact boring bar holders and small-bore tooling blocks commonly found on CNC turning centers and manual engine lathes.
Designed for use in boring bar holders and tooling blocks accepting a 1/8-inch shank diameter, typical of small-bore turning applications on CNC and manual lathes.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's tooling setup guidelines. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before mounting or adjusting the boring bar. Confirm the shank is seated and clamped securely in the holder to the correct overhang length to minimize vibration and deflection during the cut. Do not exceed the tool's stated maximum bore depth or minimum bore diameter in a single pass without verifying deflection limits for the application.
