The ACCUPRO ACC-BB110200G is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on metalworking lathes and machining centers. Built from micrograin solid carbide with a titanium nitride (TiN) finish coating, it handles tight-tolerance bore finishing where high-speed steel tooling falls short. The 1/8-inch shank diameter and 1-1/2-inch overall length make this a compact tool suited for small-diameter bore work. It features right-hand cutting geometry and a minimum bore diameter of 0.11 inches, with a maximum bore depth of 13/64 inches (0.200 inches). Machinists and toolroom operators working with small bores on CNC or manual lathes will find this bar a direct fit for fine finish passes and accurate diameter control.
This boring bar is suited for small-bore internal turning on metals including steel, cast iron, aluminum, and similar machinable materials. Its compact shank and short overall length make it appropriate for use in close-clearance boring setups on CNC turning centers and manual engine lathes. The TiN coating extends tool life by reducing friction and improving wear resistance at the cutting edge. This bar is typically used by machinists, toolmakers, and precision shop technicians performing tight-tolerance bore finishing where minimum bore diameter requirements are 0.11 inches or larger.
Designed as a standard boring bar for use in tool holders accepting a 1/8-inch shank diameter on manual or CNC lathes and turning centers capable of internal boring operations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's tool-holding specifications. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before mounting or removing tooling. The boring bar must be clamped securely in a compatible 1/8-inch boring bar holder with sufficient overhang minimized to reduce chatter. Do not exceed the maximum bore depth of 0.200 inches per pass without evaluating tool deflection and workpiece material properties.
