The ACCUPRO ACC-BB100300G is a micrograin solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on small-diameter features. With a minimum bore diameter of 0.1 inches and a maximum bore depth of 0.3 inches, this bar handles tight, shallow bores where rigidity and edge retention are critical. The 1/8-inch shank diameter keeps the tool compact for use in small-bore applications. A titanium nitride (TiN) finish coating is applied to improve surface hardness and extend tool life. This tool is suited for machinists working on CNC lathes, manual lathes, or small boring setups requiring consistent, repeatable results in hard or abrasive materials.
This boring bar is intended for shop environments where small-bore internal turning is required. The right-hand cutting direction makes it compatible with standard spindle rotation on conventional lathe setups. At 1.5 inches overall length and a 1/8-inch shank, it fits toolholders and quick-change systems sized for sub-1/4-inch shanks. Typical applications include finishing and semi-finishing of small through-holes and blind bores in ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. Machinists running high-speed or high-precision jobs will benefit from the micrograin carbide substrate, which resists chipping at tight tolerances.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use boring bar for lathes and boring setups accepting a 1/8-inch round shank tool with right-hand cutting direction.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Secure the shank fully within the toolholder to the manufacturer-recommended engagement depth to minimize deflection and chatter. Power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing the boring bar. Follow applicable OSHA machining safety standards and consult the machine tool manufacturer guidelines for toolholder torque and setup requirements.
