The ACCUPRO ACC-BB060200 is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC and manual turning equipment. Manufactured from submicron-grade carbide with a bright finish coating, it delivers tight dimensional control in small-bore applications. The bar accepts a minimum bore diameter of 0.06 inches and reaches a maximum bore depth of 0.2 inches (13/64 inches), making it well-suited for close-tolerance work in small components. The 1/8-inch shank diameter and 1.5-inch overall length keep the tool compact and rigid. Right-hand cutting geometry is standard. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working with precision lathes and boring mills will find this bar appropriate for high-accuracy, small-diameter applications.
This boring bar is intended for light to moderate material removal in small internal diameters where rigidity and precision are critical. It is commonly used in production and job-shop environments for finishing bores in ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The submicron carbide grade supports sharp edge retention and consistent surface finish across repeated cuts. Its compact geometry suits applications where clearance is limited and bore entry diameter is constrained to near 0.06 inches.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for small-bore turning and boring applications requiring a 1/8-inch shank diameter boring bar.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with boring bar setup and lathe toolpost or boring head configurations. Secure the shank firmly in the toolholder to the full recommended engagement depth to minimize deflection. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing or adjusting tooling. Do not exceed the maximum bore depth specification to avoid tool breakage or workpiece damage.
