The ACCUPRO ACC-BB050300A is a micrograin solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on CNC lathes and machining centers. It cuts right-hand and reaches a minimum bore diameter of 0.05 inches with a maximum bore depth of 0.3 inches. The 1/8-inch shank diameter and 1-1/2-inch overall length make it well suited for small-bore finish work where rigidity and dimensional accuracy are critical. A TiAlN coating improves heat resistance and tool life when cutting ferrous and hardened materials at elevated speeds. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users of this tool.
This boring bar is intended for small-bore internal turning applications in job shops, production machining environments, and toolrooms. It is appropriate for use on steel, stainless, cast iron, and similar ferrous workpiece materials where a hard, heat-resistant coating is beneficial.
