The ACCUPRO ACC-BB050200 is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision internal boring operations on small-diameter features. Built from submicron-grade solid carbide with a bright finish, it delivers consistent cutting performance in tight bore applications. The bar has a minimum bore diameter of 0.05 inches and a maximum bore depth of 0.2 inches (13/64 inches), with a 1/8-inch shank diameter and an overall length of 1.5 inches. The right-hand cutting direction suits standard spindle rotation on most CNC and manual lathes. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this bar where small-bore accuracy and rigidity are critical.
This boring bar is suited to light-duty precision boring in small components such as hydraulic fittings, medical parts, miniature housings, and similar close-tolerance workpieces. Its compact geometry allows entry into bores as small as 0.05 inches, making it a practical choice for prototype and production work where standard boring bars cannot reach. The 1.5-inch overall length keeps overhang minimal, reducing chatter and improving surface finish in shallow blind and through bores.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with internal boring tooling and lathe setup procedures. Secure the shank fully in the tool holder to the minimum recommended clamping depth before engaging the workpiece. Power down the machine spindle and confirm zero rotation before changing or adjusting the bar. Do not exceed the maximum bore depth of 0.2 inches to avoid deflection and potential tool breakage.
