The ACCUPRO A-6200275R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision small-diameter drilling in tight-tolerance applications. With a 2.75 mm (0.1083 inch) cutting diameter and a 140-degree split point, the bit enters material cleanly and reduces walking without a center punch. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 3.00 mm and seats securely in standard collet chucks or drill press fixtures. An overall length of 50.00 mm with a 19.00 mm flute length keeps the tool compact for microdrilling work. The bright, uncoated solid carbide construction provides hardness and rigidity suited for non-ferrous metals, plastics, composites, and PCB materials where dimensional accuracy is critical.
This bit is used in machining centers, CNC drilling stations, benchtop drill presses, and hand-operated precision fixtures where small hole diameters are required. Typical applications include circuit board drilling, instrument component manufacturing, mold work, and watchmaking or fine-mechanism repair. The miniature series designation indicates the bit is engineered for controlled, low-feed-rate operations where runout and bit deflection must be minimized. Machinists, toolroom technicians, and precision fabricators are the primary users of this style of micro drill bit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use micro drill bit compatible with any drill press, CNC machining center, or precision hand fixture that accepts a 3.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
Micro drill bits of this diameter require secure collet or chuck seating with minimal runout to prevent premature breakage. Use the lowest viable feed rate and appropriate spindle speed for the workpiece material before engaging the cut. Inspect the collet or chuck for wear before installing this bit, as any lateral play significantly increases the risk of bit fracture at small diameters. Coolant-through is not supported by this bit, so external mist or flood coolant should be directed at the cutting zone when drilling metals.
