The ACCUPRO A-6200100R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in miniature and small-hole applications. With a 1.00 mm (0.0394 inch) drill diameter and a 140-degree point angle, this bit is built for accurate entry and minimal walking on hard or dense materials. The bright/uncoated finish suits applications where coating buildup or contamination is a concern. At 50.00 mm overall length with a 3.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank, it fits standard collet and chuck tooling setups. Solid carbide construction provides the rigidity and wear resistance required for repeatable micro-drilling at tight tolerances.
This micro drill bit is suited for precision machining operations including PCB fabrication, instrument manufacturing, mold and die work, and other applications requiring small-diameter through-holes. The miniature series designation and 7.00 mm flute length make it appropriate for shallow-to-moderate depth holes in materials where carbide's hardness advantage over HSS is needed. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional spindle rotation on CNC machining centers and manual drill presses equipped for micro tooling.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature series drill bit for use with standard collet chucks and toolholders accepting a 3.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank, as used on CNC machining centers, CNC routers, and precision drill presses.
Micro drill bits should be installed and removed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician using the appropriate collet size and torque-appropriate tightening — overtightening collet nuts can damage the shank. Always verify spindle speed and feed rate against the manufacturer's recommendations for the work material before drilling. At 1.00 mm diameter, carbide is brittle — avoid lateral forces and ensure the workpiece is rigidly fixtured to prevent bit breakage. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing tooling.
