The ACCUPRO A-6200050R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in small-diameter applications. It features a 0.5 mm cutting diameter, a 140-degree standard point angle, and a spiral flute geometry with right-hand cutting direction. The bright uncoated finish makes it suitable for use in materials where coating buildup or heat reactivity is a concern. With an overall length of 50 mm and a straight-cylindrical shank diameter of 3 mm, this bit is sized for use in precision chucks and collet holders common in machining centers, CNC drilling setups, and micro-fabrication work. It is part of the Miniature series and is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 10 units.
This micro drill bit is used in applications requiring tight-tolerance, small-diameter hole drilling. Typical use cases include printed circuit board fabrication, instrument manufacturing, medical device components, mold and die work, and other precision machining operations. The solid carbide construction handles harder workpiece materials where high-speed steel bits would deflect or wear prematurely. The 3.5 mm flute length is matched to shallow drilling passes common in micro-drilling operations. This bit is installed and operated by machinists, toolmakers, and CNC technicians in shop environments.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision spindles equipped with collet or precision chuck systems that accept a 3 mm straight-cylindrical shank. Part of the ACCUPRO Miniature series for micro-drilling applications.
This bit should be installed by a qualified machinist or CNC technician using a properly sized collet or precision chuck rated for 3 mm shank tooling. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down or in a safe state before changing tooling. Do not exceed the recommended feed and speed parameters for the workpiece material. Micro-diameter carbide tooling is brittle and susceptible to breakage from side loading, runout, or improper chuck engagement.
