The ACCUPRO A-6120293R is a micro drill bit engineered for precision drilling in small-diameter applications. Built from solid carbide, this bit delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required when working with hard or abrasive materials at tight tolerances. It features a 120-degree point angle for accurate center-starting and clean entry, a spiral flute for efficient chip evacuation, and a bright uncoated finish suited to a wide range of workpiece materials. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 3.00 mm in diameter, providing secure chuck engagement in standard collets and drill chucks. With an overall length of 38 mm and a flute length of 14 mm, this miniature-series bit is sized for controlled, precise work in confined or delicate part geometries.
This drill bit is intended for use in precision machining environments where small hole diameters and tight tolerances are standard requirements. Typical applications include circuit board drilling, instrument component fabrication, medical device part machining, and general miniature metalwork. It is suited for use in CNC machining centers, benchtop drill presses, and hand-held precision drilling equipment where a 3.00 mm shank diameter is accepted. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional drill setups.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision hand-held drilling equipment fitted with collets or chucks accepting a 3.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard shop safety procedures, with the machine powered down and locked out before handling. Secure the shank fully within the collet or chuck to the recommended grip depth to minimize runout and prevent pullout during operation. Do not exceed the recommended feed and speed parameters for the workpiece material. Inspect the cutting edges before each use and remove from service at the first sign of chipping or wear.
