The ACCUPRO A-6120219R is a solid carbide micro drill bit engineered for precision drilling in small-diameter applications. Built to the Miniature series standard, it features a 120-degree point angle and a right-hand spiral flute configuration that promotes clean chip evacuation and accurate hole entry. The bright, uncoated carbide substrate provides a sharp cutting edge suited for consistent performance in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With an overall length of 38 millimeters and a 2.19 mm cutting diameter, this bit is sized for tight-tolerance work where standard jobber-length drills are impractical. Machinists, tool-and-die workers, and precision fabricators are the primary users.
This micro drill bit is designed for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision hand-held drilling equipment where small-diameter hole accuracy is required. The 3.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank provides reliable chuck engagement across common collet and chuck configurations. Typical applications include printed circuit board drilling, instrument component fabrication, watch and clockmaking components, medical device parts, and small mechanical assemblies requiring clean, repeatable hole geometry. The 12 mm flute length accommodates moderate drilling depths relative to the bit diameter.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct substitute for Miniature series solid carbide micro drill bits with a 2.19 mm cutting diameter and a 3.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank, compatible with CNC and manual drilling equipment accepting that shank size.
Micro drill bits should be installed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician familiar with small-diameter tooling practices. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and de-energized before changing tooling. Secure the shank fully within the collet or chuck to the recommended grip depth to prevent runout and premature bit breakage. Avoid applying side loads or using the bit as a reamer, as solid carbide is brittle and susceptible to fracture under lateral stress.
