The ACCUPRO A-6120216R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in miniature and close-tolerance applications. With a 2.16 mm (0.0850 inch) cutting diameter and a 120-degree drill point angle, this bit delivers accurate entry geometry in hard and abrasive materials. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 3.00 mm in diameter, and the overall length is 38.00 mm. Machinist and toolroom professionals rely on solid carbide construction for its rigidity and wear resistance in small-diameter drilling where high-speed steel would deflect or dull prematurely.
This drill bit is suited for precision machining operations in metalworking, electronics manufacturing, printed circuit board fabrication, medical device manufacturing, and instrumentation work. The miniature series designation makes it appropriate for applications where drill diameter, runout control, and repeatability are critical. It is sold individually but carries a minimum order quantity of 10 units, making it practical for shop floor replenishment in production environments. The right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional CNC and manual drill press setups.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision hand-held drilling equipment accepting a 3.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank. Fits standard ER collet systems and small-diameter drill chucks configured for miniature tooling.
Installation and use of this drill bit should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom professional familiar with small-diameter carbide tooling. Secure the shank fully in the collet or chuck before beginning any operation, and verify runout before drilling to prevent bit breakage. Carbide is brittle — avoid side-loading or interrupted cuts that can fracture the tool. Always verify spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material and drill diameter before starting the cut.
