The ACCUPRO A-6120111R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precise small-diameter drilling in tight-tolerance applications. Measuring 1.11 mm (0.0437 inches) in diameter with a 120-degree drill point angle, this bit delivers clean, accurate entry points in hard and abrasive materials where high-speed steel tooling falls short. The overall length is 30.00 mm with a 5.40 mm flute length and a 1.50 mm straight-cylindrical shank. Right-hand cutting direction and a bright, uncoated finish make it ready to run out of the box. Machinists, tool-and-die makers, and precision fabricators rely on this style of bit for microdrilling work in metals, composites, and circuit board materials.
This bit belongs to the ACCUPRO Miniature Series, intended for CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision benchtop machines where small-hole accuracy is critical. Typical applications include printed circuit board drilling, watch and instrument components, medical device parts, and any production or prototype work requiring sub-2 mm hole diameters. The spiral flute geometry promotes chip evacuation in shallow-depth micro holes. Coolant-through is not available on this model, so standard flood or mist cooling should be applied at the spindle as appropriate for the workpiece material.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, high-speed drill presses, and precision spindle setups accepting a 1.50 mm straight-cylindrical shank. Suitable as a Miniature Series solid carbide micro drill for applications requiring 1.11 mm hole diameters.
Install into a compatible micro collet or precision drill chuck rated for the 1.50 mm shank diameter, ensuring the collet is clean and free of debris before seating the bit. Secure the workpiece firmly — any movement at this drill diameter will cause bit deflection or breakage. Run at manufacturer-recommended spindle speeds for solid carbide micro drills in the target material; do not use manual feed pressure. Inspect the cutting edge under magnification before each use, as carbide micro bits are brittle and can develop micro-chipping that is not visible to the naked eye.
