The ACCUPRO A-6120103R is a miniature series solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in tight-tolerance applications. The bit measures 1.03 mm in diameter (0.0406 inches) with an overall length of 30 mm (approximately 1.18 inches) and a flute length of 4.80 mm (approximately 0.19 inches). The 120-degree standard point angle and spiral flute geometry support accurate entry and consistent chip evacuation in small-hole work. Solid carbide construction delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required when drilling hard or abrasive materials at high spindle speeds. This bit ships individually and carries a minimum order quantity of 10 units.
This micro drill bit is suited for precision machining operations where small-diameter holes are required in materials such as hardened steel, stainless, aluminum, plastics, and composites. Typical applications include PCB drilling, instrument manufacturing, mold and die work, and fine mechanical component fabrication. The straight-cylindrical shank with a 1.50 mm diameter seats securely in standard collet chucks and micro drill chucks compatible with that shank size. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional CNC and manual drilling setups. Coolant-through is not supported on this bit.
Designed for use in any CNC machining center, drill press, or manual spindle equipped with a collet chuck or micro drill chuck accepting a 1.50 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
Micro carbide drill bits should be installed by a machinist or tooling technician familiar with small-diameter tooling practices. Ensure the spindle and chuck are fully de-energized and at rest before inserting or removing the bit. Carbide is brittle — avoid side loading, prying, or overtightening set screws directly against the shank. Use the recommended spindle speed and feed rate for the material and diameter; excessive feed is the most common cause of breakage at this size class.
