The ACCUPRO A-6120043R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in tight tolerances and miniature applications. Measuring 0.0169 inches in diameter with a 120-degree drill point angle, this bit is built for consistent, accurate performance in hard and abrasive materials. The bright/uncoated finish keeps the carbide surface exposed for maximum cutting efficiency. With an overall length of 25.00 mm and a straight-cylindrical shank, it fits standard collet-style tool holders used in CNC and benchtop drilling setups. Machinists, toolroom technicians, and precision fabricators working with small-diameter holes will find this bit suited to their exacting requirements.
This micro drill bit belongs to the Miniature Series and is intended for use in applications requiring very small bore diameters, such as printed circuit board fabrication, watch and instrument repair, medical device manufacturing, and precision mold work. The spiral flute geometry promotes chip evacuation in confined drilling environments. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional drill press and CNC spindle rotation. Coolant-through capability is not available on this bit, so external coolant or dry cutting is required based on the material being drilled.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, micro drill presses, and benchtop drilling stations equipped with collet holders accepting a 1.00 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and use of this bit should be performed by machinists or toolroom technicians familiar with micro-diameter tooling. Power down and fully de-energize the spindle before changing or seating the bit in the collet. Ensure the collet bore matches the 1.00 mm shank diameter to prevent runout, which is critical at this drill diameter. Do not exceed the recommended spindle speed range for solid carbide micro tooling in the material being drilled, as breakage risk increases significantly with improper feeds and speeds.
