The ACCUPRO A-6100153R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in small-diameter applications. Built to tight tolerances, this bit features a 1.53 mm (0.0602 inch) cutting diameter, a 120-degree standard point angle, and a spiral flute geometry that promotes clean chip evacuation. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 2.00 mm in diameter and fits standard miniature-series collet chucks and drill chucks. Solid carbide construction provides the rigidity and wear resistance needed when drilling hard materials at small diameters where high-speed steel bits deflect or break prematurely.
This micro drill bit is suited for machine shops, toolrooms, electronics manufacturing, medical device fabrication, and any precision metalworking environment that requires controlled, repeatable small-diameter holes. The bright, uncoated finish makes it appropriate for use across a range of non-ferrous metals, plastics, composites, and certain ferrous alloys. Right-hand cut direction is compatible with conventional CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision hand-held spindle tools. The miniature series designation indicates suitability for micro-drilling operations where workpiece geometry or feature spacing demands a compact tool profile.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision spindle tools that accept a straight-cylindrical 2.00 mm shank in a miniature-series toolholder or collet chuck.
Installation and use of this bit should be performed by a qualified machinist or tool-and-die technician familiar with micro-drilling practices. Ensure the machine spindle and collet are clean and free of debris before seating the shank to maintain concentricity. Verify spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material and bit diameter before cutting; running micro carbide bits at incorrect parameters is the leading cause of breakage. Do not use in hand-held rotary tools that cannot maintain consistent RPM and minimal runout.
