The ACCUPRO A-6100139R is a miniature solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in tight-tolerance applications. Built from solid carbide, this bit delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required when working with hard or abrasive materials at small diameters. The 1.39 mm diameter (0.0547 inches) combined with a 120-degree point angle promotes accurate entry and reduces walking at the start of the cut. A bright, uncoated finish keeps the surface true to carbide hardness without added coating variables. Machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and precision fabricators rely on this type of bit for micro-hole drilling in electronics, medical components, and instrumentation work.
This bit is suited for precision machining operations requiring small-diameter through-holes or blind holes in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The right-hand spiral flute configuration evacuates chips efficiently over the 11.20 mm flute length. The straight-cylindrical shank at 1.50 mm diameter seats securely in standard collet chucks and drill chucks sized for miniature tooling. It is sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 10 units, making it practical for shop stock or production tooling inventory.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision hand-piece units equipped with collet chucks or drill chucks accepting a 1.50 mm straight-cylindrical shank in the miniature tooling series.
Installation and use should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician familiar with micro-diameter drill bits. Ensure the machine spindle and chuck are fully stopped and locked out before loading or removing the bit. Verify chuck concentricity before running, as runout is critical at diameters below 2 mm and can cause premature breakage. Use manufacturer-recommended feed rates and spindle speeds for solid carbide micro drills in the specific workpiece material to avoid bit fracture.
