The ACCUPRO A-6100125R is a solid carbide micro drill bit engineered for precision drilling in miniature applications. With a diameter of 1.25 mm (0.0492 inches) and a 120-degree point angle, this bit delivers accurate, clean entry in tight-tolerance work. The bright/uncoated finish and standard point geometry make it well suited for a wide range of base materials. At 30.00 mm overall length and a 1.50 mm straight-cylindrical shank, it fits standard micro drill chucks without modification. Cutting direction is right hand. Installers and machinists working in electronics, instrumentation, or precision fabrication will find this bit a dependable choice for consistent hole quality at small diameters.
This bit is designed for use in precision machining environments where small-diameter, high-accuracy holes are required. Typical applications include printed circuit board drilling, instrument component fabrication, watch and clock repair tooling, and fine metalwork. The miniature series designation reflects its suitability for benchtop drill presses, CNC micro-drilling machines, and precision hand-held rotary tools equipped with appropriate collets. A spiral flute design promotes chip evacuation in shallow-to-moderate depth holes. Coolant-through is not supported on this bit, so adequate chip clearing by retract cycling or air blast is recommended in deeper drilling operations.
Designed for use in CNC micro-drilling machines, precision benchtop drill presses, and rotary tools equipped with collets or chucks accepting a 1.50 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
This bit should be installed by a machinist or qualified technician familiar with micro-drilling procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Verify collet or chuck runout before use, as even minor runout can cause bit deflection or breakage at this diameter. Use appropriate feed rates and spindle speeds for the workpiece material; excessive feed pressure is the leading cause of carbide micro-drill breakage.
