The ACCUPRO A-6100108R is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in miniature and small-diameter applications. With a cutting diameter of 1.08 mm (0.0425 inches) and a 120-degree drill point angle, this bit produces accurate, clean entry points in tight-tolerance work. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 1.50 mm in diameter, and the overall length is 30.00 mm with a 9.00 mm spiral flute length. The bright/uncoated finish is standard for solid carbide tooling used in applications where coating is not required or where post-process treatment will be applied. Right-hand cutting direction is conventional for standard CNC and manual spindle setups.
This micro drill bit is suited for machinists, toolmakers, and precision fabricators working on circuit boards, small mechanical components, watch parts, medical device components, and other applications requiring sub-1.5 mm bore diameters. The miniature series designation indicates it is intended for use in high-speed spindles, micro-machining centers, and precision drill presses where runout control and collet holding accuracy are critical. The solid carbide construction holds up well in hard and abrasive materials compared to high-speed steel alternatives.
Designed as a miniature-series solid carbide drill bit for use in micro-machining centers, CNC drilling equipment, and precision drill presses with collets or chucks sized for a 1.50 mm straight shank.
Micro drill bits in this size range require installation by a machinist or toolroom technician using a precision collet sized to the 1.50 mm shank diameter. Ensure the spindle and collet are clean and free of runout before seating the bit. At diameters under 1.5 mm, even minor collet contamination or excessive runout will cause premature breakage. Always verify spindle RPM and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material before engaging the cut.
