The ACCUPRO 95172702 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. Built to the VS Series specification, this single-end, centercutting tool features a 3/4 inch diameter with a 0.0150 inch corner radius and four flutes in a right-hand spiral configuration. The AlCrTiN physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating provides thermal stability and wear resistance during high-speed cutting. Variable index and variable helix geometry help reduce chatter and improve surface finish. This tool is typically installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working in job shops, aerospace, mold and die, or general precision machining environments.
This end mill is suited for profiling, slotting, and contouring operations in ferrous and hardened materials where a controlled corner radius is required. The 1-1/2 inch length of cut and 4 inch overall length make it a standard reach tool appropriate for moderate-depth cavity work and side milling. The straight cylindrical shank with h6 tolerance provides consistent runout control in collet-style and end mill holders. The micrograin carbide substrate supports aggressive feed rates while maintaining edge integrity.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide corner radius end mill in the ACCUPRO VS Series, suitable for use in standard 3/4 inch collet chucks, shrink fit holders, and hydraulic end mill holders with straight cylindrical shank bores.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before mounting or removing the tool. Use a holder with the appropriate 3/4 inch bore and verify runout with a dial indicator before production cutting. Do not exceed the tool manufacturers recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
