The ACCUPRO 95172676 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. It measures 0.1250 inches in diameter with a 0.0050-inch corner radius and a 0.2500-inch length of cut. The four-flute, single-end geometry paired with variable index and variable helix angles reduces chatter and improves surface finish at higher feed rates. An AlCrTiN physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and hardened materials. The 1/8-inch straight-cylindrical shank seats in standard collets or end mill holders. This tool is installed by machinists and CNC operators working in job shop, toolroom, and production environments.
The 95172676 is suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys where a controlled corner radius is required to reduce stress concentrations at part edges. Its centercutting capability allows direct plunge entry. With a 1.5000-inch overall length and regular-length flute classification, it fits compact spindle clearances common in vertical machining centers and CNC mills. The VS Series designation indicates a variable-geometry platform engineered for stability in difficult-to-machine materials.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or new-install tooling for 1/8-inch collets and end mill holders with a straight-cylindrical bore; compatible with any vertical or horizontal CNC machining center or manual mill accepting a 0.1250-inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder to the recommended gauge-line depth and torque the retention nut per the toolholder manufacturer's specifications. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use; a damaged corner radius will affect dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
