The ACCUPRO 95171400 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 20 mm (0.7874 inch) cutting diameter, a 32 mm length of cut, and a 100 mm overall length. The 45-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. A ZrN (zirconium nitride) coating increases surface hardness and wear resistance, extending tool life in demanding materials. This end mill is centercutting, allowing plunge entry as well as conventional peripheral milling. It is a single-end tool with a 2-flute, right-hand spiral configuration suited for general-purpose milling work performed by machinists and CNC operators.
This end mill is appropriate for use in CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and manual knee mills where a regular-length, square-profile tool is required. The micrograin carbide substrate provides rigidity and edge retention in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 20 mm shank diameter matches the cutting diameter, making it compatible with standard ER collet chucks, milling chucks, and hydraulic toolholders with 20 mm bore capacity. It is well suited for slotting, profiling, and shoulder milling in production and job-shop environments.
Designed for use with toolholders accepting a 20 mm shank diameter, including ER collet chucks, milling chucks, and hydraulic holders. Suitable for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines with right-hand spindle rotation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the toolholder manufacturer's torque specifications for collet nuts or retention knobs. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the controller is in an appropriate safe state before changing tooling. Verify runout at the cutting diameter after installation to confirm proper seating in the holder. Always select feeds and speeds appropriate to the workpiece material and machine rigidity.
